Nicole Zwiercan
Mrs. Illinois America 2022 & Mrs. America 2023
Having a background in first Dental Hygiene and then the media field as a reporter, Nicole most recently was named the Illinois Senate Press Secretary.
In 2021, Nicole was also elected to be a voice in her community and serve on the board of Trustees in her hometown of Homer Glen.
She is very passionate about inspiring communities to become more inclusive and accommodating for disabled individuals. After their daughter Ashlynn was diagnosed with Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy in 2018, that mission has never been more important to her and her family. She is proud to have facilitated the first GoTo Inclusive shopping cart in the Midwest and plans to take this initiative world-wide this year as Mrs. Illinois (and hopefully as Mrs. America!)
She currently serves as chairperson of the Ability Awareness Committee as well as the Parks and Rec committee allowing her to improve community parks by making them inclusive and accessible for all children.
She has been married to her husband Dr. Christopher Zwiercan for 8 years, and they have two beautiful children, Cristinao (7) and Ashlynn (4). She loves being a team mom, art room mom and story mom in the classroom in her spare time, as well as going on weekly date nights with her husband. Miss Illinois for America Strong 2022
Hi! I’m Mia and I am the creator of my platform Bags of Hope which benefits children entering the foster care system. Bags of Hope provides children with personal hygiene and comfort care items, and even include some items that a foster parents may need on their first night with an infant. In addition to this cause, I also volunteer at many local festivals, food pantries, and as a story time reader. During my year of service, I hope to expand Bags of Hope and become an ambassador for Foster Nation which helps children that are aging out of the foster care system. Follow my journey here!

Hi! I’m Rupi Kaur, married to my husband Savi Singh for 20 years, we have 2 children, Balroy Singh & Karman Singh. Our favorite family time is taking family vacations and watching NBA games. Though I work in the corporate world, my true passion is Women’s Empowerment – a platform to empower women of any age to pursue their dreams. As Mrs. Illinois American, and hopefully Mrs. American, I will make an impact by leading others as a woman of substance: A woman who is powerful, who is influential, and who is an inspiration to others by positively advancing Victoria’s Voice as well as my own Social impact initiative.
